Your contribution to St. Joseph Health Ministries and the Brush.Brush.Smile!® program helps thousands of children receive the direct dental care and education they need to live healthier lives.
- • Did you know that close to 20,000 at-risk children in Lancaster County never visit a dentist?
- • Did you know that children with chronic dental pain are unable to focus, are easily distracted, and may have problems with schoolwork completion?
During our 2010-2011 fiscal year, contributions from our community helped us provide $742,000 worth of dental care and/or education to more than 10,000 children. We provided direct dental care to 740 children on our mobile dental clinics, the “Brush Brush Buses.” Since its inception in 2004, our program has provided care valued at more than $3 million to children and families who need it most.
Your support can help us continue to make a positive difference in our community.
Donations
$500 donation provides preventive and restorative care to a child, including fillings, extractions or crowns.
$250 donation provides preventive care to a child on the Brush Brush Bus, including evaluation, cleaning, X-rays, fluoride and sealants.
$150 donation provides 15 children with classroom education to learn healthy dental habits.
$50 donation helps 10 children participate in our Dental Olympics, which combines physical activity with dental health education.
