Meet the Dental Team
We provide care and promote positive oral health habits for children in Lancaster County, PA, from birth through age 18. We partner with school districts to offer a full range of education and children’s oral health services in our technologically advanced children’s mobile dental clinic – the “Brush Brush Bus.”
Dr. Denise L. Alston – Dentist
Dr. Alston has been with Brush. Brush. Smile!™ since its inception, after serving as a staff dentist at practices in Harrisburg and Chester. A native of Hockessin, Del., she graduated from the University of Delaware and the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry.
Beth Zimmerman – Dental Hygienist
Also an original dental team member, Beth has degrees in dental hygiene from Pennsylvania College of Technology in Williamsport and HACC. She received her master’s degree in education from Penn State University.
Leigh Ann Renaldi – Dental Assistant
Leigh Ann worked in private dental practice in Lancaster before joining St. Joseph Health Ministries in 2007. She received her certificate in dental assisting from Harrisburg Area Community College.
Amy Thomas – Dental Assistant
Amy joined our staff in 2007 after working in private dental practices in Quarryville and Strasburg. She received her certificate in dental assisting from the Lancaster County Career and Technology Center, Willow Street campus.
Joanie Mitchell – Dental Assistant
Joanie worked in private dental practices in Willow Street before joining St. Joseph Health Ministries in 2008. She received her certificate in dental assisting from the Lancaster County Career and Technology Center, Willow Street campus.
Alicia Dittrick – Dental Assistant
Alicia joined St. Joseph Health Ministries in 2009 after working at a private practice in New Holland. She received her certificate in dental assisting from the Lancaster County Career and Technology Center, Willow Street campus.
